PTCL has entered into a strategic partnership with Veeam Software. This collaboration aims to strengthen PTCL’s offerings in data protection, disaster recovery, and cloud services for its corporate and enterprise clients.

The partnership was formalized during GITEX Dubai 2024, a prestigious technology exhibition. Waqar Ahmed, Group Director Enterprise Solutions at PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Kinda Baydoun, Channel and Alliances Director, EMEA East at Veeam, signed the agreement in the presence of top management.

By integrating Veeam’s technology into its infrastructure, PTCL will be able to offer its customers more robust data management and business continuity solutions. The Veeam Data Platform provides comprehensive data resilience and ransomware protection, ensuring seamless disaster recovery processes and uninterrupted operations.

Sayyed Muhammad Imran Ali, Group VP B2B Strategy & Product Management at PTCL & Ufone 4G, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that it aligns with PTCL’s commitment to providing world-class data protection solutions to its customers. He emphasized the importance of enabling businesses to safeguard their critical information in today’s complex digital landscape.

Kinda Baydoun from Veeam highlighted the benefits of the partnership for Pakistani businesses. The Veeam Data Platform offers increased cyber resiliency, hybrid-cloud optimization, and direct-to-object storage capabilities, empowering businesses to secure their data and maintain uninterrupted operations.

The partnership between PTCL and Veeam solidifies PTCL’s position as a leader in digital transformation in Pakistan, helping businesses protect their valuable assets and ensure their resilience in the face of evolving digital challenges.
