PTCL Launches SHOQ TV Box: Android TV Revolutionizes Pakistani Entertainment

Pakistan’s leading telecom provider, PTCL, has unveiled the SHOQ TV Box, powered by Android TV by Google. This innovative device promises to transform the way Pakistanis experience television. The launch event, held in Islamabad, showcased the potential of SHOQ TV to revolutionize the entertainment landscape.

With 200 live TV channels, including 60 in HD, and a massive 15,000 hours of on-demand content, SHOQ TV offers a diverse and enriching viewing experience for the whole family. The SHOQ TV Box goes beyond traditional TV. Users can rewind, pause, and catch up on shows, access on-demand content with ease, and leverage voice control for a hands-free experience. Personalized recommendations ensure viewers discover content they’ll love.

The immersive interface allows seamless navigation, while superior picture quality and lifelike visuals bring content to life. Pre-installed apps like SHOQ, Netflix, and Youtube provide immediate entertainment options, while the Google Play Store offers a world of possibilities. Chromecast integration allows effortless casting from mobile devices to the big screen.

PTCL President and Group CEO, Hatem Bamatraf, emphasized that SHOQ TV is more than just a product. It’s about empowering users with choice and convenience. He expressed gratitude to Google and ZTE for making this possible.
