Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), Telco Integrators Pvt Ltd, and Kacific Broadband Satellites Group have entered into a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding access to high-speed satellite-powered connectivity solutions across Pakistan. This collaboration combines the infrastructure strength of PTCL, the local expertise of Telco Integrators, and the satellite capabilities of Kacific to deliver broadband internet, voice, and network services to areas with limited or no access to reliable digital infrastructure.

As part of this alliance, PTCL will contribute its extensive telecommunications backbone, including the country’s largest fiber optic cable network that stretches from Khyber to Karachi, along with access to international connectivity through submarine cables. These assets position PTCL to support large-scale deployment and enable seamless data transmission across regions. Telco Integrators will operate as the on-ground enabler of Kacific’s services, handling the implementation, support, and operations of satellite broadband services locally. The trio will jointly promote and provide Kacific’s broadband offerings to telecom operators, enterprises, and SMEs in Pakistan, thereby increasing the availability of high-quality and dependable internet services to a wider population.

Aamer Ejaz, Group Vice President of Carrier Solutions Business at PTCL, emphasized the significance of the initiative by stating that the partnership marks a critical step in enhancing national digital connectivity. He noted PTCL’s commitment to extending services to hard-to-reach regions, contributing to broader socio-economic growth and digital participation for underserved populations.

Christian Patouraux, CEO of Kacific, highlighted that extending operations into Pakistan aligns with the company’s mission to bridge digital disparities and enable inclusive access to modern communication tools. By joining forces with PTCL and Telco Integrators, Kacific aims to empower both urban and remote communities through fast, affordable, and scalable satellite internet.

Imtiaz Ahmed Laghari, CEO of Telco Integrators, described the partnership as a practical deployment of cutting-edge technology combined with localized service delivery. He underlined the importance of ensuring customer satisfaction by offering solutions that are not only advanced but also grounded in the real needs of users across various regions.

With over half of Pakistan’s population still lacking reliable broadband access, this initiative aims to address a critical infrastructure gap and foster digital growth across underserved and remote communities. The collaboration is positioned to support economic development, education, e-governance, and innovation by enabling reliable digital connectivity. This effort is aligned with national objectives of digital empowerment and lays the groundwork for transforming the country’s connectivity landscape through satellite solutions backed by strong local partnerships.
