PTCL and China Mobile International Partner for Global Connectivity

PTCL has entered into a strategic partnership with China Mobile International Limited (CMI) at GITEX Global 2024 in Dubai, UAE.

This collaboration aims to enhance connectivity for customers of both companies, both within Pakistan and globally. By combining their expansive networks, PTCL and CMI will deliver seamless and high-quality connectivity solutions.

Waqar Ahmed, Group Director of Enterprise Solutions at PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Alex Lee, Managing Director of China Mobile International Middle East, signed the agreement during GITEX 2024. The event was attended by investors, innovators, business leaders, and top management from both companies.

PTCL’s extensive fiber network spanning over 65,000 kilometers across Pakistan, coupled with CMI’s global reach through 305 overseas Points of Presence (PoPs), will enable the delivery of robust and scalable connectivity solutions for businesses and individual consumers.

Sayyed Muhammad Imran Ali, Group VP B2B Strategy & Product Management at PTCL & Ufone 4G, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating that it will strengthen Pakistan’s footprint in the digital landscape. By leveraging the combined strengths of both companies, PTCL and CMI aim to provide unmatched access and service quality to their customers.

Alex Lee emphasized the importance of this collaboration for China Mobile International Middle East, stating that it will enhance their capabilities and allow them to introduce innovative solutions to the market.

The partnership at GITEX 2024 is expected to accelerate digital growth in the region and set a precedent for mutual progress and development in the industry. PTCL Group has established several significant partnerships and collaborations at GITEX 2024, further strengthening Pakistan’s telecom and digital ecosystem.
