PTA has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the freelancing community in Pakistan through a recent meeting with the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA).
During the meeting, PTA Chairman Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman emphasized the authority’s efforts to create a conducive environment for the IT sector. One of the key initiatives discussed was the registration of IP addresses for VPNs, which will help ensure uninterrupted connectivity for software houses, banks, businesses, and freelancers.
PTA highlighted the simplicity of the VPN registration process, which can be completed online at no cost within 2-3 days. Additionally, the authority plans to launch awareness campaigns to educate freelancers and businesses about the benefits of VPN registration through interactive sessions, webinars, podcasts, and tutorials.
President & CEO of PAFLA, Tufail Ahmed Khan, expressed his appreciation for PTA’s support and initiatives. He emphasized the importance of uninterrupted connectivity for freelancers and highlighted the positive impact of PTA’s efforts on the freelancing community.
