Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITeS (P@SHA) has taken a significant step in strengthening Pakistan’s global technology presence through multiple strategic collaborations formalized with KAOUN International FZE during GITEX GLOBAL 2025. The partnerships aim to amplify Pakistan’s participation and visibility in key international technology and innovation events, fostering opportunities for the country’s tech ecosystem to engage with diverse global markets.

The collaboration encompasses several upcoming initiatives, each focused on expanding Pakistan’s footprint across various international stages. Under this arrangement, P@SHA and KAOUN International FZE have agreed on a series of non-binding letters to collaborate on major technology-focused events hosted by the Dubai World Trade Centre. These include FLEX Global 2026 in Dubai, where both organizations will explore themes around the future of work and learning. Another important collaboration focuses on GITEX AI Türkiye 2026, one of the most influential gatherings for global technology and startups in Istanbul. Additionally, P@SHA will extend its reach to Latin America through participation in GITEX AI LATAM in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2027, marking a milestone in Pakistan’s efforts to connect with emerging technology markets beyond the traditional regions of focus.

The signing of these agreements was led by Muhammad Umair Nizam, Senior Vice Chairman of P@SHA, and Bilal Al-Rais, Vice President of Tech and Digital Cluster at the Dubai World Trade Centre, on behalf of KAOUN International FZE. Also in attendance was Kheezran Khan, Director of Brand and Global Outreach at P@SHA, who emphasized the importance of these collaborations in shaping Pakistan’s international technology narrative. These engagements are expected to open new channels for Pakistani IT companies, startups, and professionals to participate in global innovation ecosystems, exchange knowledge, and explore commercial opportunities in diverse regions.

Through these partnerships, P@SHA aims to position Pakistan as a consistent contributor to the international technology landscape. By participating in globally recognized events across the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America, the association seeks to promote Pakistan’s IT potential, enhance networking opportunities, and establish stronger business and government linkages. This initiative reflects the country’s evolving strategy to strengthen international collaboration and attract investment to its IT sector, while showcasing the growing maturity and competitiveness of Pakistan’s technology industry on a worldwide scale.
