PASHA has announced its role as an outreach partner for the Davos Startup Challenge 2026, supporting efforts to identify Pakistan’s most promising startups that can compete on a global stage. Organized by CITADEL Pakistan: Pathfinder School of Excellence, the initiative is focused on finding the country’s top eight startups to represent Pakistan at the prestigious Davos platform. With the call for applications now open, the program is targeting high-potential ventures working in priority sectors including Artificial Intelligence, DeepTech, Climate and Green Technologies, AgriTech, HealthTech, and Fintech.
The Davos Startup Challenge 2026 provides a significant opportunity for emerging ventures to secure international exposure and connect with mentors, investors, and industry leaders. Pakistani startups that qualify through the selection rounds will have access to benefits such as global visibility, media amplification, mentorship, and potential market access. With the growing recognition of Pakistan’s innovation capacity, this platform is designed to bring local entrepreneurs closer to international networks, providing them with an entry point into global markets. P@SHA’s involvement as an outreach partner ensures that the initiative reaches a broad range of startups within its member network and beyond, extending visibility to companies that are shaping the future of technology and services.
The selection process is being conducted in phases, beginning with the national call for applications, which runs from September 19 to October 4, 2025. Shortlisted startups will then move forward to a pitching session scheduled for October 11, 2025, where they will present their ideas and business models to evaluators. The final round will take place on October 25, 2025, where the top eight startups will be chosen to represent Pakistan at Davos. By maintaining a rigorous yet inclusive process, the organizers aim to ensure that startups from diverse sectors and stages of growth are considered, giving equal opportunity to innovators who are developing scalable and impactful solutions.
For Pakistan’s entrepreneurial community, the Davos Startup Challenge represents more than just competition. It is an opportunity to showcase the country’s talent pool and creative potential on a global stage where thought leaders and decision-makers convene. Sectors such as ClimateTech and AgriTech hold particular relevance for Pakistan, given the country’s ongoing challenges with sustainability, food security, and environmental impact. Similarly, HealthTech and Fintech solutions are increasingly important in addressing local gaps while providing services that are globally scalable.
