The Pakistan Software Export Board is hosting another edition of its GAIN Sessions, bringing two United States-based industry voices to the platform to share insights with Pakistan’s technology leadership on topics spanning artificial intelligence, cross-border networking, women in technology, and the future of Pakistan’s information technology exports. The sessions are part of an ongoing initiative by the Pakistan Software Export Board, operating under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, to bridge Pakistan’s domestic technology ecosystem with global expertise and help local companies scale their services in international markets.

The first speaker is Aamir Chalisa, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Futurity First Insurance Group in the United States, who will address participants on the subject of building influence through community engagement, leadership development, and global networking. His session is aimed at helping Pakistan’s technology professionals and business leaders understand how strategic relationship-building and community presence can translate into tangible international opportunities, a dimension of business development that is often underweighted in conversations dominated by product and technical capability alone.

The second session will be led by Amna Shah, Chief Financial Officer of AHS Consulting Inc., who will explore the intersection of women in technology, artificial intelligence, and Pakistan’s growing export momentum. Her session speaks directly to two of the most consequential dynamics shaping Pakistan’s technology sector at this moment: the underrepresentation of women in leadership and technical roles, and the rapid integration of artificial intelligence into service delivery models that Pakistan’s export-oriented firms are increasingly being asked to demonstrate. Together, the two sessions are designed to give participants a rounded perspective on what it takes to connect globally, scale services effectively, and remain competitive as cross-border opportunities in the technology industry continue to evolve at pace.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come.
