PSEB Chief Executive Officer Faisal Jeddy formally presented a Certificate of Appreciation to PASHA Vice Chairman Raheel Iqbal during a meeting held on June 9, recognising his significant contributions to the successful execution of the National Skill Competency Test conducted on April 4 and 5, 2026.

The meeting brought together Raheel Iqbal, Faisal Jeddy, Dr. Henna Karamat Durrani, and Syeda Safa, Skills Development Associate at PASHA, for a discussion covering ongoing collaboration between the two organisations and current skills development initiatives aimed at building a stronger digital workforce for Pakistan’s information technology sector. The Certificate of Appreciation presented during the meeting acknowledged the role that PASHA’s leadership played in supporting the delivery of the National Skill Competency Test, which serves as a nationally standardised assessment mechanism for evaluating the technical competencies of information technology professionals and graduates across Pakistan.

The National Skill Competency Test is part of PSEB’s broader mandate to align Pakistan’s information technology talent pipeline with industry requirements and international benchmarks, ensuring that professionals entering or advancing within the sector meet verifiable skill standards rather than relying solely on academic credentials. PASHA’s involvement in the test’s execution reflects the association’s ongoing contribution to workforce development at a national level, working alongside PSEB and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication under the Tech Destination Pakistan framework. The recognition also signals the continued strength of the collaborative relationship between PASHA and PSEB, two of the most active institutional stakeholders in Pakistan’s information technology export and skills development ecosystem, at a time when both organisations are working toward the shared goal of scaling up Pakistan’s globally competitive digital workforce.
