Pakistan’s startup ecosystem continues to gain international recognition with PostEx being featured in Forbes Asia’s 100 To Watch 2025 list. The company, founded in 2020 and led by CEO Muhammad Omer Khan, has been acknowledged for its innovative approach to combining logistics and financial services tailored for Pakistan’s predominantly cash-based economy. This recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of the PostEx team in building solutions that address critical challenges in the online retail sector.

PostEx began as a delivery service but quickly adapted to market realities by pivoting to a hybrid model that integrates logistics with financial technology. Its signature offering provides upfront cash payments to e-commerce merchants while collecting outstanding amounts from customers at the time of delivery. This solution allows sellers to manage cash flows more effectively, reducing delays in working capital cycles while ensuring smoother courier operations. By merging financial support with delivery services, PostEx has carved a unique position in Pakistan’s rapidly growing e-commerce space.

In 2022, PostEx made a major move by acquiring Call Courier, a leading logistics provider. This acquisition significantly expanded its footprint and positioned PostEx as Pakistan’s largest e-commerce delivery service. Beyond scaling operations, the company has also attracted investor confidence. In August 2024, PostEx raised $7.3 million in a pre-series A funding round led by Conjunction Capital, a milestone that is helping fuel its expansion into the Middle East. With this growth, PostEx aims to replicate its successful model in regional markets, further strengthening its reputation as a forward-thinking player in logistics and fintech.

Being listed among Forbes Asia’s 100 To Watch is not only a recognition of PostEx’s achievements but also a spotlight on the rising potential of Pakistan’s startup ecosystem. The company stands as an example of how local innovation can create solutions aligned with the specific needs of the market while also positioning itself for global expansion. PostEx’s journey from a delivery service to a hybrid logistics-fintech enterprise highlights the adaptability and determination of Pakistani startups striving to make a lasting impact in technology-driven industries.
