The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) have signed a contract to upgrade TEVTA’s customer services through PITB’s Citizen Contact Center, according to a news statement.
Chairman PITB Azfar Manzoor and Chairman TEVTA Ali Salman Siddique signed the contract at Arfa Software Technology Park. PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif, DG Procurement (TEVTA) Amir Aziz and other senior officials from both organizations were present at the ceremony.
According to the contract, CCC will provide services to the general public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to resolve their TEVTA-related questions, concerns, and suggestions. The CCC would also offer a toll-free helpline at 0800 83882. TEVTA hopes to address the issues of the youth by educating and empowering them through TEVTA’s technical and vocational programmes.
The CCC of the PITB is the first government-to-citizen (G2C) contact centre, offering SMS messages, Robo Calls, and Live Agents Calls, among other services. CCC currently provides services to 30 government ministries across Punjab, thanks to the addition of TEVTA.
