The Punjab Information Technology Board has announced contract-based career opportunities for qualified, energetic, and self-motivated professionals under advertisement code MP003-2026, inviting applications for 46 positions across multiple domains including Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation. Most positions are based in Lahore, with select roles extended to multiple regional districts across Punjab. The last date to apply is July 5, 2026, with applications to be submitted online through the official Punjab Jobs Portal at jobs.punjab.gov.pk.

The latest recruitment campaign targets highly qualified, energetic, and self-motivated technology and administrative professionals, with positions spanning specialised domains including Generative Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, DevOps, Animation, and Software Engineering. PITB is looking to onboard individuals with 12 to 16 years of educational backgrounds across the advertised roles. The positions are available on a contract basis, a recruitment model that PITB has consistently used to bring market-competitive technical talent into public sector digital transformation work without being constrained by the timelines and pay scales of conventional civil service recruitment.

Key roles in the MP003-2026 advertisement include positions in Artificial Intelligence and Data Strategy, specifically covering AI Policy and Governance and AI Growth Strategy, alongside technical roles in Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and IT Project Management. The advertisement covers 46 vacancies across multiple domains, providing professionals with an opportunity to work on technology solutions that directly support PITB’s mandate of transforming public services through innovation and digital tools. Candidates at the entry level in clerical and operational roles are required to meet a minimum educational qualification, while senior technical positions carry specific experience requirements that reflect the seniority and complexity of the work involved.

PITB reserves the right to cancel, increase, decrease, or withhold any position without assigning any reason. Government and semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel. Recruitment quotas for women, minorities, and persons with disabilities will be observed according to government policy. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for appearing in tests or interviews. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit jobs.punjab.gov.pk, search for the MP003-2026 advertisement, create or log in to their profile, and submit their application before the July 5, 2026 deadline. PITB is one of Pakistan’s most active public sector technology institutions, currently overseeing a wide range of digital governance initiatives across Punjab including the One Map Punjab geospatial platform, the e-Filing and Office Automation System, the PAYZEN payment platform, and the satellite-based Violation Detection System for construction monitoring.
