The Pakistan Digital Authority hosted a delegation from JazzWorld and Musavir.AI at its headquarters for a meeting with Chairperson Dr. Sohail Munir, focused on exploring potential collaboration around artificial intelligence and Pakistan’s broader digital infrastructure agenda. The delegation was led by JazzWorld Chief AI Officer Hamza Khokhar, along with Musavir.AI Directors Farhan Javed and Arslan Javed.

During the meeting, Dr. Sohail briefed the delegation on the authority’s mandate and the Digital Nation Pakistan initiative, placing particular emphasis on the role artificial intelligence can play in supporting Digital Public Infrastructure, improving public service delivery, and building a domestic innovation ecosystem. The discussion positioned AI not as a standalone technology initiative, but as a tool intended to support broader digital governance objectives already underway across the authority’s work.

Discussions during the meeting covered Pakistan’s current AI landscape and emerging technologies more broadly, while exploring specific areas where the Pakistan Digital Authority, JazzWorld and Musavir.AI could collaborate on applied AI projects. Participants also discussed how the public and private sectors can work together on responsible AI adoption, local talent development, and building a more sustainable foundation for the country’s digital growth.

Dr. Sohail reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to working closely with technology experts and industry partners in shaping Pakistan’s digital future, framing collaboration between government and private sector players as central to positioning the country within the broader global digital transformation landscape. The meeting reflects a continuing pattern of engagement between the Pakistan Digital Authority and private technology companies, as officials continue building relationships aimed at developing the country’s AI ecosystem through coordinated public and private sector involvement rather than policy measures alone.
