PASHA Vice Chairman Raheel Iqbal attended the GPCCI Members Networking Event in Lahore on 5 December, participating in an evening that brought together representatives from the German Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and business leaders from multiple sectors. His presence highlighted the ongoing engagement between Pakistan’s technology industry and international chambers seeking to expand their understanding of the country’s business landscape. The gathering offered an important occasion for conversations centered on mutual interests, expanding professional networks and addressing areas where cooperation can support long term commercial activity.

During the event, Raheel Iqbal met the Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan, H.E. Ina Lepel, in a discussion that emphasized the importance of strengthening interactions between Pakistan and Germany. The meeting offered space to exchange views on economic cooperation, potential partnerships and shared objectives in fostering cross border business growth. Their interaction also underscored the interest of both countries in maintaining productive dialogue, especially at a time when global industries are exploring more diverse technology related collaborations. PASHA’s engagement at the event added value to conversations about how Pakistan’s technology sector continues to evolve and create opportunities that international partners can explore.

Raheel Iqbal addressed the audience and spoke about the expanding role of Pakistan’s IT and tech sector, noting its increasing relevance for global markets. He discussed how companies in Pakistan are participating more actively in international projects and how innovation is becoming an essential component of business development across the industry. His remarks highlighted how the local technology ecosystem retains the capacity to support sustainable growth and provide skilled talent for collaborative initiatives. He also emphasized the potential for partnerships that can connect Pakistani expertise with international demand, especially in areas where digital transformation continues to influence economic activity.

The event provided a platform for dialogue between business communities from Pakistan and Germany, encouraging exploration of new areas for cooperation. Attendees shared insights on trade, technology trends and sector driven collaboration that may contribute to broader engagement between companies from both countries. The gathering also helped build stronger professional relationships by enabling industry leaders to discuss shared challenges and possible solutions relevant to both markets. Through continued participation in such forums, PASHA supports opportunities that introduce Pakistan’s technology capabilities to international audiences and helps connect local businesses with global industry leaders.
