Pakistan IT Industry Association PASHA is seeking applications from passionate and proactive individuals for the position of Skills Development Intern at its Islamabad office, as the association continues to expand its work in youth capacity-building and programme development across the technology and education sectors. The opportunity is aimed at candidates who are eager to contribute meaningfully to impactful skills initiatives and gain hands-on experience working within a leading industry body at the intersection of technology, governance, and human capital development.

The selected intern will be responsible for a range of tasks that span programme support, stakeholder coordination, and knowledge management. Core responsibilities include providing support in executing internal tasks related to skills development programmes, assisting in drafting critical report reports, presentations, and communication material, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the organisation, including government bodies, development sector partners, and education sector institutions. The role also involves collecting, cleaning, and organising data for monitoring, evaluation, and reporting purposes, coordinating meetings and events, managing invites, setting agendas, and taking minutes, as well as making follow-up calls and sending reminders to ensure stakeholder participation. Maintaining online records and ensuring organised documentation and knowledge management will also form part of the intern’s day-to-day responsibilities.

In terms of eligibility, PASHA is looking for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree, or currently in their final year, in a relevant field such as Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Education, Public Policy, or Information Technology. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail are essential, as are effective verbal and written communication abilities. The ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is a requirement, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with Google Workspace tools, will be considered an advantage. A willingness to take initiative, learn proactively, and contribute as part of a team is central to the profile PASHA is seeking. Salary will be offered based on experience and qualifications. Interested candidates can apply by visiting https://champ.ly/YFVQOW3n or sending their resume and cover letter to careers@pasha.org.pk.
