PASHA facilitated a Virtual Business-to-Business Networking Session on May 13, 2026, connecting its member companies with technology firms from Russia to explore collaboration opportunities, forge new partnerships, and identify areas of mutual growth between the two countries’ technology sectors. The session brought together a diverse cross-section of Pakistan’s technology industry, with participating PASHA members including A Hamson Inc., Averox, CBA, Cloudlem, IBL-Unisys, Ingenious Zone, Nayatel, QBS Co, S2 Consulting Service, Sepia Solutions, Sofcom, Tkxel, and VaporVM.

The virtual format allowed participants from both countries to engage in meaningful discussions and knowledge exchange without the logistical barriers of in-person travel, enabling a broader range of companies to participate in what PASHA described as a platform for strengthening international industry connections. For many of the participating firms, the session represented an entry point into a market that has historically seen limited direct technology services trade with Pakistan, with the Russia-Pakistan technology corridor being significantly underdeveloped relative to Pakistan’s more established export relationships with North America, Europe, and the Gulf region.

PASHA has been systematically broadening the international market exposure of its member companies through targeted networking events, delegation programmes, and bilateral engagement sessions across multiple geographies. The Russia B2B session sits within that broader strategy of creating structured pathways for Pakistani technology companies to access markets beyond their traditional client bases, supporting the government’s ambition to grow Pakistan’s information technology export revenues significantly over the coming years. By facilitating direct company-to-company conversations with Russian technology counterparts, PASHA is creating the relationship infrastructure that commercial partnerships require before formal agreements and project engagements can follow.

about
CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
