Pakistan IT Industry Association PASHA, in collaboration with Pakistan Stock Exchange, is hosting a webinar titled “How to Raise Capital Using PSX” on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time, bringing together the country’s technology industry community and capital markets in a focused session aimed at making public market fundraising more accessible and better understood by companies across the sector.

The session will feature Syed Ahmad Abbas, Head of Business Development and Listing at Pakistan Stock Exchange, as the lead speaker, and will cover the practical mechanics of listing on both the Growth Enterprise Market Board and the Main Board of Pakistan Stock Exchange. Participants can expect detailed guidance on eligibility requirements, the end-to-end listing process, and the recent procedural improvements that have made accessing Pakistan’s capital markets more streamlined for companies considering this route for growth financing.

For Pakistan’s technology and software industry, the webinar addresses a gap that has long existed between the sector’s growth ambitions and its familiarity with formal capital market instruments. Many technology companies have historically relied on private funding, retained earnings, or bank financing, often without fully exploring the structured capital-raising opportunities that public listing on an exchange can provide, including access to a broader investor base, improved corporate governance visibility, and enhanced institutional credibility. The Growth Enterprise Market Board in particular was designed with growing companies in mind, offering a more accessible entry point than the Main Board for firms that may not yet meet the full listing criteria of the primary exchange.

Registration for the webinar is open at https://champ.ly/ku8Lz_Pp, with the Zoom link to be shared directly with registered participants ahead of the session. Given the relevance of the topic to companies at various stages of development, from technology startups eyeing their first institutional capital raise to established software houses exploring public market options, the webinar presents a timely opportunity for Pakistan’s information technology sector to engage directly with the expertise of Pakistan Stock Exchange’s listing team.
