TallyMarks Consulting (TMC), in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and the Higher Education Development Program-Pakistan (HEDP-PK), has successfully launched Wave 1 of the Maktab SAP ERP solution, marking a significant milestone in digitalizing university back-office management. This transition from manual processes to an advanced enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is expected to enhance efficiency, streamline administrative tasks, and align Pakistan’s higher education institutions with globally recognized best practices.

Maktab is designed to modernize university operations, reducing paperwork, eliminating inefficiencies, and improving financial and resource management across institutions. The implementation of this cutting-edge solution ensures cost savings, better transparency, and an optimized workflow, allowing universities to focus on academic excellence rather than being hindered by outdated administrative systems. The first wave of Maktab’s implementation has been successfully completed in several universities across the country, demonstrating its potential to revolutionize higher education management. The institutions that have embraced this digital transformation include Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage in Sukkur, Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design in Lahore, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University in Peshawar, and Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture (MNSUAM) in Multan. These universities are now equipped with an advanced digital framework that supports data-driven decision-making, seamless financial planning, and efficient resource allocation.
