Pakistan is set to make a strong return to GITEX Global 2025, the world’s largest technology and startup exhibition, taking place from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Once recognized as a notable participant and winner in earlier editions, Pakistan is now positioning itself as a dynamic presence, ready to highlight its growing strength in the global technology arena.

The Pakistan pavilion this year is expected to feature an extensive lineup of companies and startups representing diverse sectors such as artificial intelligence, financial technology, educational technology, and software-as-a-service. This representation underscores the country’s growing focus on emerging technologies and its intent to showcase solutions that can meet global demand. Industry leaders view the participation as an important opportunity to promote Pakistani innovation, attract international partnerships, and highlight the evolving role of the country in the global technology ecosystem.

The effort is being supported by Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA), with additional facilitation from the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan. Together, these organizations are working to present a unified image of Pakistan as a hub for technology talent and entrepreneurship. The pavilion will also serve as a platform for networking, enabling startups and established companies alike to connect with potential investors, buyers, and collaborators from across the world.

Prominent names associated with this year’s participation include Shahbaz Hameed, Abrar Qureshi, Qasim Khan, and Mujtaba Abbas, among others, reflecting the depth of professional expertise involved in shaping Pakistan’s representation. With contributions from multiple stakeholders, the pavilion is expected to highlight both the creative energy of young entrepreneurs and the institutional support driving the country’s digital transformation.

Pakistan’s presence at GITEX Global 2025 not only reinforces its commitment to global engagement in technology but also demonstrates its readiness to contribute to the international dialogue on digital innovation. By presenting its best talent and most promising ventures, the country aims to strengthen its position as a technology destination and showcase how its companies are shaping solutions for the future of work, commerce, and education.
