Applications are now open for CEGA – Center of Excellence in Gaming & Animation, Pakistan’s first dedicated incubation program created to support game developers, animators, and creative entrepreneurs. This initiative marks an important milestone for the country’s creative economy by providing a structured environment to develop talent and nurture ideas in the rapidly growing gaming and animation sectors. CEGA offers a comprehensive support framework designed to help aspiring creators transform their concepts into viable projects and businesses.

Unlike many incubation models, CEGA is completely free of cost, with no equity or financial commitment required from participants. It has been designed as a platform for pure learning, growth, and opportunity, making it more accessible for early-stage creators who may otherwise face financial barriers to entry. The program aims to build a collaborative ecosystem specifically for game development and animation, bringing together individuals with diverse skills to work on innovative projects that can shape the creative landscape of Pakistan.

Through CEGA, participants will gain access to expert mentorship from both global and local industry leaders who bring practical experience and insights into the gaming and animation markets. This mentorship is complemented by legal, business, and technical guidance to help refine ideas, protect intellectual property, and prepare projects for commercial success. The program also facilitates networking with investors, professionals, and other stakeholders, creating connections that can lead to partnerships, funding, and long-term growth opportunities. By providing such resources, CEGA hopes to build a strong pipeline of talent and projects that can elevate Pakistan’s standing in the international gaming and animation industry.

CEGA’s focus on incubation rather than direct funding places emphasis on equipping creators with the skills and knowledge to sustain their ventures independently. It encourages applicants with game development ideas or a passion for animation to apply and take advantage of this unique opportunity. Applications are currently open, and interested individuals can register through the provided link to join the incubation journey. This program offers a chance for Pakistan’s creative entrepreneurs to receive structured support and mentorship that can help them bring their visions to life, while also contributing to the growth of the national gaming and animation ecosystem.
