Pakistan’s active participation in Oslo Innovation Week 2025 continued to strengthen its presence in the global technology ecosystem. Kheezran Khan, P@SHA Director Brand and Global Outreach, along with other members of the P@SHA delegation, engaged in several strategic discussions and events during the third day of the conference. The delegation met with Saadia Altaf Qazi, Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Norway, at the Embassy of Pakistan in Oslo, where they explored new avenues for collaboration and shared insights on enhancing Pakistan’s digital footprint across international platforms.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Norway in the technology and innovation sectors. They discussed opportunities for expanding partnerships in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital services, underscoring the role of P@SHA in connecting Pakistani IT firms with global markets. The conversation also revolved around policy support and initiatives that could encourage joint ventures and investment in Pakistan’s rapidly growing digital economy. Ambassador Saadia Altaf Qazi appreciated P@SHA’s continued efforts in representing Pakistan at international forums and reaffirmed the embassy’s commitment to facilitating greater collaboration between the two countries.
Later in the day, the P@SHA delegation attended the session titled “Investing in Secure and Sovereign AI: Geopolitics and Cybersecurity in Healthcare and Critical Sectors.” The discussion brought together global experts who examined the intersection of artificial intelligence, national data sovereignty, and cybersecurity, particularly in sectors like healthcare, infrastructure, and public systems. Participants explored the challenges and opportunities in building responsible AI ecosystems that balance innovation with data protection and governance. P@SHA delegates contributed valuable insights, reflecting Pakistan’s growing engagement in international discussions on ethical and secure technology adoption.
Through these engagements, the delegation continued to build meaningful international connections and highlight Pakistan’s contributions to the evolving global digital landscape.
