Bilal Hashmat, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CureMD, brings deep experience in health information technology, while Shaukat Ali Khan, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, is a Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity Leader at the National Health Service in the United Kingdom, giving the board a direct connection to one of the world’s largest public health systems. Clinical expertise is represented through Dr. Asrar Rashid, a Consultant Paediatric Intensivist and AI Genomics Specialist, and Malik Muhammad Safi, a Public Health Expert and former official of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination. Dr. Shaheen Afridi brings public health systems leadership to the board, while Professor Dr. Mahmood Shaukat contributes expertise in regenerative medicine.

International and institutional perspectives are provided by Dr. Khalid Saeed Bukhari, a World Health Organization Global Health Consultant and Policy Strategist, and Dr. Maryam Mustafa, Director of the National Artificial Intelligence Centre at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, who connects the health innovation agenda to Pakistan’s broader artificial intelligence research ecosystem. Dr. Muqeem Khan, a Traditional Medicine Practitioner and Design Academic, and Dr. Naeem Majeed, a Health Policy and Public Health Specialist, round out a board that Pakistan Digital Authority has described as positioned to shape the future of digital health innovation in the country by fostering collaboration between healthcare, technology, research, and policy to build impactful and scalable solutions for Pakistan’s population.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come.
