Onic and Careem Forge Strategic Partnership to Shape Pakistan’s Digital Ecosystem

Onic, the emerging digital telco brand in Pakistan, and Careem, the leading ride-hailing platform, have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to forge a strategic partnership aimed at cultivating a digital ecosystem for consumers across the nation.

The MoU, signed by Omer Bin Tariq, Country Head of Onic Pakistan, and Imran Saleem, General Manager of Ride Hailing at Careem Pakistan, witnessed the presence of Hatem Bamatraf, President and Group CEO of PTCL & Ufone 4G.

This collaboration marks the inception of a joint endeavor between Onic and Careem to leverage their respective expertise to deliver innovative and enhanced customer experiences.

Hatem Bamatraf, President and Group CEO of PTCL & Ufone 4G, underscored Onic’s dedication to prioritizing the needs of the Pakistani people, positioning itself as a pioneer digital telco brand with a challenger mindset. He emphasized the transformative potential of the partnership with Careem in reshaping the digital landscape in Pakistan.

Imran Saleem, General Manager of Ride Hailing at Careem Pakistan, expressed excitement about the collaboration with Onic, highlighting its alignment with Careem’s mission to simplify and enhance people’s lives through exceptional customer experiences.

This strategic partnership signifies a significant milestone for Onic as it expands its presence in the digital telecommunications domain. Together, Onic and Careem are committed to driving technological advancements that empower communities and revolutionize connectivity and mobility in Pakistan.
