TADHack is currently the largest telecoms-focused hackathon worldwide and is a yearly event focused on developers, technology and creativity in which people (e.g. students, graphic designers, interface designers, project managers, product managers, IT managers, computer programmers, interested individuals, and subject-matter-experts) collaborate on a software project focused on programmable telecoms utilizing platforms provided by telecoms.

The hackathon is simple. Participants need to create hacks using the global sponsors’ resources. This year’s sponsors include video.io, Apifonica, Temasys, Matrix and Telestax. According to their site,

We also have some development themes this year to encourage hacks in particular topics, such as BOTs, machine learning, IoT, Enterprise Communications, edge computing, decentralized web, and open source contributions.
