National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has successfully concluded its second Advanced AI Bootcamp, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs). This initiative is part of a broader effort to equip young Pakistani professionals with the skills needed to excel in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.

The bootcamp series, which began in May 2023, is a collaboration between NUST, the Ashar Aziz Foundation, Sky Electric, and the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The first bootcamp focused on Deep Neural Networks (DNNs), while the second delved into the complexities of LLMs.

Dr. Osman Hasan, Pro-Rector (Academics) at NUST, expressed his satisfaction with the success of the bootcamp. He emphasized the university’s commitment to providing cutting-edge AI training and empowering the next generation of tech talent.

By providing hands-on experience and access to advanced computing resources, NUST aims to bridge the skills gap and position Pakistan as a global hub for AI innovation. The university plans to expand this initiative to more universities across the country, ensuring that a larger number of students benefit from this valuable training.
