The National Information Technology Board received the Excellence Award for its E-Office platform at the inaugural TAF-ABL Public Sector Digital Transformation Awards 2026, recognizing the system’s widespread rollout across federal government departments. The award was presented during a ceremony in Islamabad organized by the Tech Advisory Forum and Allied Bank Limited, in collaboration with Ignite, the National Technology Fund and Pakistan Single Window.

E-Office is NITB’s flagship digital governance platform, designed to move federal government departments away from paper based administrative processes toward a fully digital system for managing official correspondence, approvals and internal workflows. The platform’s recognition at the awards reflects its continued expansion across federal institutions, with officials at NITB crediting the project’s implementation team for helping drive broader adoption of digital administrative processes within government.

The award was accepted on behalf of NITB’s leadership, including Chief Executive Officer Faisal Iqbal Ratyal and Director General PMO and Project Director Faqirullah Khan, who have overseen the platform’s development and rollout across federal departments. NITB described the recognition as a reflection of the sustained effort behind the E-Office project’s implementation, positioning the platform’s expansion as part of the organization’s broader mandate to modernize administrative processes across the federal government.

The Excellence Award for E-Office adds to a wider list of honours presented at the inaugural ceremony, which recognized digital transformation projects across categories spanning education, health, trade, finance and public administration. Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja, who attended as chief guest and was separately honoured as Digital Visionary of the Year, presented the awards during the event, which brought together government officials, technology innovators and international delegates from CAREC member countries to mark the ceremony’s first edition.
