NETSOL Technologies Limited (PSX: NETSOL), through its sub-subsidiary NETSOL Institute of Artificial Intelligence (Pvt.) Ltd., has announced a strategic partnership with the National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) to train 1,600 individuals in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Cybersecurity. The collaboration represents a significant stride toward equipping Pakistan’s workforce with essential digital skills to meet both local and international market demands.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between NETSOL Institute of Artificial Intelligence and NAVTTC will focus on providing comprehensive technical training, mentorship, and industry-aligned education to young professionals and students. Through this initiative, participants will gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies, enabling them to play a vital role in Pakistan’s transition to a knowledge-based digital economy. The training programs are designed to develop practical expertise in emerging technologies that are increasingly critical for industries ranging from finance and manufacturing to healthcare and logistics.

Salim Ghauri, CEO and Founder of NETSOL Technologies, emphasized that the partnership underscores NETSOL’s long-standing commitment to advancing technology education and workforce development in Pakistan. He stated that the initiative aims to create a strong pipeline of skilled digital professionals capable of contributing to both national and global technology ecosystems. Ghauri added that the partnership with NAVTTC is aligned with Pakistan’s broader vision of fostering a competitive and inclusive digital economy.

The collaboration also addresses a growing demand for professionals trained in AI and cybersecurity, areas that are central to global digital transformation. By empowering learners with the right skill sets, NETSOL and NAVTTC aim to bridge the existing talent gap and strengthen Pakistan’s position as a hub for high-value technology services. The program will also support the government’s objective of promoting youth employment through digital upskilling initiatives, helping professionals stay relevant in an evolving tech-driven environment.

This initiative builds upon NETSOL’s history of promoting innovation, research, and technology education through institutional partnerships and in-house training programs. By supporting NAVTTC’s efforts to standardize and enhance technical training frameworks across the country, NETSOL continues to contribute to national capacity building. The partnership is expected to yield long-term benefits by fostering a new generation of professionals equipped to lead advancements in artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making, and cybersecurity solutions.

Through this joint effort, both NETSOL and NAVTTC reaffirm their shared commitment to creating a digitally empowered workforce and driving sustainable technological progress in Pakistan’s rapidly growing IT ecosystem.
