Ashrei Tech, in collaboration with the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park and the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund under the Government of Sindh’s Investment Department, has launched a three-month paid Digital Skills Training Programme across three cities in Sindh, offering participants a Rs25,000 monthly stipend alongside practical industry training, job placement support, and a three-month paid internship opportunity upon completion.

The programme is designed as a government-backed initiative targeting young Pakistanis aged 18 to 35 in Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur, with training delivered Monday to Friday across the full three-month duration. Unlike many digital skills programmes that offer training alone, the stipend structure ensures that participants from lower-income backgrounds can attend without sacrificing the income they might otherwise need to support themselves or their families during the training period, directly addressing one of the most significant barriers to skills programme participation among Sindh’s youth population.

Five tracks are available under the programme: Web and Mobile App Development, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce, Oracle, Cyber Security, and Python for Artificial Intelligence. The breadth of the curriculum reflects an understanding that Pakistan’s digital economy needs talent across the full technology stack, from software developers and mobile app builders to digital marketers who can drive e-commerce growth, database administrators, security professionals, and artificial intelligence-adjacent developers who can build practical AI-powered applications. Participants interested in enrolling must first register for an entry test, which can be done through the programme’s official website at https://ashreitech.edu.pk/digital-skills-training-program/ or via https://tinyurl.com/375u58hd, with Sapphire Consulting Services also listed as a partner in the initiative, indicating private sector industry involvement in shaping the curriculum and supporting job placement outcomes.
