Muhammad Saad Khan Appointed GAFAI Global AI Delegate for Saudi Arabia

Muhammad Saad Khan has been appointed as the Global AI Delegate to Saudi Arabia for the Global Alliance for Artificial Intelligence (GAFAI). With more than 12 years of experience in leading Data and AI transformations across the GCC region, For nearly nine years, Saad is a co-founder of Inseyab, a UAE‑based AI and data firm. Saad has consistently been at the forefront of strategic AI development, driving large-scale innovation for both public and private sectors.

Currently heading a team of over 100 AI professionals, Saad plays a pivotal role in the design and deployment of sovereign AI infrastructure and intelligent agents that power national digital independence and institutional efficiency. His leadership is rooted in developing real-world AI applications aligned with responsible innovation and scalable outcomes, making him a strong match for GAFAI’s mission to advance ethical, impactful AI solutions across global markets.

As part of his new role, Saad will accelerate Saudi Arabia’s AI infrastructure development, supporting economic diversification efforts and Vision 2030 goals. His core contributions are framed by key national AI leadership pillars. As a Sovereign Architect, he is building foundational infrastructure to enhance Saudi Arabia’s digital autonomy. As an Intelligent Agent Pioneer, he deploys mission-critical AI systems that drive transformation in both government and business environments. His focus on scale allows him to deliver robust and efficient AI models, while his stance as an Ethical Adoption Guardian ensures that all innovation is governed by socially responsible frameworks.

GAFAI has entrusted Saad with responsibilities that include scaling intelligent agents across enterprise ecosystems, forging international AI partnerships to establish Saudi Arabia as a MENA innovation hub, and mentoring a new generation of Saudi AI talent to lead the region’s digital future. He will also advocate for regulatory frameworks that balance innovation with accountability, ensuring human oversight remains central in AI advancement.

Saad’s strategic insight is guided by a clear philosophy: “Saudi Arabia’s ambition demands more than technology—it requires AI systems built on national values: scalable, sovereign, and socially responsible. Here, we turn vision into reality.” His perspective reflects a deep understanding that AI is not only a technological asset but also a vehicle for national development and long-term societal impact.

With this appointment, Muhammad Saad Khan brings his experience, leadership, and vision to a role that will shape Saudi Arabia’s AI journey and strengthen its position as a regional and global AI powerhouse.
