Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) is on the hunt for a seasoned legal expert to bolster its operations and drive Pakistan’s digital transformation.

The ministry is inviting applications for a Legal Consultant position, offering a three-year contract with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s ICT policies and regulations.

Ideal applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Law with at least five years of relevant experience or an LLM with seven years of industry exposure. The consultant will be responsible for drafting legislation, providing legal counsel, and ensuring the legality of ICT-related contracts.

This recruitment drive is part of a broader government initiative to enhance the capabilities of key ministries. The appointed legal consultant will join the growing team at MoITT, which recently welcomed a telecom consultant to strengthen its operations.

The selection process involves a rigorous evaluation by a shortlisting committee and a final decision by the Prime Minister.
