Lincoln Corner Karachi, in partnership with AzCorp Entertainment, has announced the Freedom 250 STEAM Builder Training, an intensive six-day programme designed for makers, designers, engineers, and founders looking to bridge the gap between digital design and physical fabrication. The programme is being launched in celebration of Freedom 250, the 250th anniversary of American independence, and will recruit 20 visionary innovators for a hands-on training experience at Lincoln Corner Karachi, located at the Liaquat Memorial Library. The programme runs from June 29 to July 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM daily, and interested participants can register at https://forms.gle/GRk6JNA1psa3bi4T7.

The programme distinguishes itself from conventional training formats by combining skills instruction with a real-world build project. Participants will not only learn computer-aided design and digital fabrication techniques over the six days but will also contribute directly to the creation of a three-foot-tall, precision-engineered Liberty Bell replica that will be displayed at the United States Embassy in Islamabad. The project-based structure ensures that every participant leaves the programme with both practical skills and a tangible contribution to a public-facing installation, giving the learning experience a purpose and visibility that purely instructional formats cannot replicate.

Computer-aided design and digital fabrication are among the most practically valuable skills in today’s manufacturing and product development landscape, enabling professionals to translate ideas from screen to physical object through technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining. For Pakistan’s growing community of makers, hardware entrepreneurs, and design professionals, access to structured training in these disciplines remains limited relative to the demand, making the Freedom 250 STEAM Builder Training a meaningful opportunity for participants who want to build capability in this space within a supportive and resourced environment.

The collaboration between Lincoln Corner Karachi, which serves as a public diplomacy platform supported by the United States Embassy, and AzCorp Entertainment, which has built a profile in creative and technical production within Pakistan, brings together complementary institutional strengths around a programme that has both educational and cultural significance. With the final output set to be displayed at the US Embassy in Islamabad, participants will have the added distinction of seeing their collective work serve as a symbol of creativity and technical skill at the highest bilateral level.
