LearnOBots, recognized as the largest and pioneering STEAM-based education company for schools in Pakistan, has launched one of the most ambitious educational initiatives in the country’s history. In collaboration with the Institute of Space Technology (IST) and the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, LearnOBots is rolling out an integrated STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program across Pakistan’s public school system. This initiative, which is set to impact over 22,000 students across 150 government schools, marks a transformative step forward in equipping Pakistan’s youth with 21st-century skills.

The program will introduce students to cutting-edge subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Machine Learning—subjects that are shaping the future of industries worldwide. Through a hands-on, immersive learning experience, students will not only learn these vital technical skills but will also be nurtured in an environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking, setting the foundation for a generation of forward-thinking leaders.

The rollout of this initiative is a significant leap for Pakistan, positioning the country as a leader in preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of the future. While many countries around the world have begun to introduce basic coding and computer science into their curricula, Pakistan is setting a new global standard by delivering a comprehensive and future-focused STEAM education program. This will equip students not only with the skills needed to navigate today’s workforce but, more importantly, with the knowledge and creativity necessary to drive innovation and lead change in the coming decades.

Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, former Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, has been instrumental in shaping this forward-looking program. Under his leadership, the initiative goes beyond traditional classroom instruction, aiming to instill a culture of innovation and problem-solving within Pakistan’s public education system. The integration of creative arts with technical subjects is a key feature of the program, allowing students to develop a balanced skill set that encourages them to think critically and approach challenges from multiple perspectives. In addition to the students who will directly benefit from this program, LearnOBots is also focused on building the capacity of educators. The company will hire and train 150 teachers who will be deployed nationwide to deliver the program. These educators will be responsible for not only teaching the curriculum but also mentoring students, ensuring the long-term sustainability and impact of the initiative. The training will equip teachers with the tools and methodologies needed to effectively teach complex subjects such as robotics and AI, ensuring that the program’s success is rooted in high-quality instruction and guidance.

Faisal Laghari, CEO of LearnOBots, emphasized the program’s significance, stating, “This initiative is more than just a milestone for Pakistan—it’s a bold statement to the world about how developing nations can lead in future-proof education. We’re empowering students not only with technical knowledge but with the mindset to become creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.” His remarks highlight the long-term vision behind the program, which aims to equip students with both the technical know-how and the entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world. The initiative has the potential to transform not just the educational landscape in Pakistan but also the future of the country’s economy and workforce. By equipping young minds with the tools to innovate and solve complex problems, the program is ensuring that Pakistan’s future leaders will be ready to take on the global challenges of tomorrow, from technological advancement to climate change and beyond.

In a country where access to quality education can often be a barrier for many, this initiative is breaking down those barriers by providing students across Pakistan’s public school system with access to world-class educational resources and training. This broad access ensures that the future of innovation and leadership is not limited to a select few, but is open to all students, regardless of their socio-economic background. As the global economy becomes increasingly driven by technology and innovation, the importance of programs like this cannot be overstated. By investing in the digital literacy and creativity of young students today, Pakistan is securing a more prosperous and sustainable future for its people. This global rollout of integrated STEAM education marks the beginning of a new era for Pakistan, one where the country’s youth are empowered to lead, create, and innovate on the world stage.
