Kuickpay has announced a strategic collaboration with Visa to launch a Business Payment Service Provider (BPSP) platform aimed at reshaping the B2B payments ecosystem in Pakistan. With Visa’s global digital payments infrastructure and Kuickpay’s localized fintech expertise, the platform is designed to simplify business payments, enhance vendor relationships, and enable financial growth for small and medium enterprises across the country.

This initiative comes at a time when many businesses continue to face inefficiencies in the financial value chain, particularly in vendor payments. Among the common challenges in Pakistan’s B2B environment are restricted liquidity, limited card acceptance, and the burden of manual reconciliation processes. The new BPSP platform offers a solution by allowing businesses to use Visa Commercial Cards to directly pay their suppliers into their bank accounts, significantly reducing the Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). This approach not only streamlines payments but also enhances working capital for SMEs by creating more predictable cash flows.

Another advantage of the platform is its ability to increase digital payment acceptance across a broader range of vendors. By digitizing vendor transactions and enabling more suppliers to receive digital funds, Kuickpay and Visa are driving both convenience and trust in commercial payments. The platform also supports automated reconciliation and real-time invoice tracking, reducing manual workload and administrative costs for businesses managing large volumes of vendor interactions.

Syed Saqib Ali, CEO of Kuickpay, emphasized the company’s commitment to addressing long-standing pain points in business payments through innovation. He stated that by combining local market insights with Visa’s global digital infrastructure, Kuickpay is delivering a scalable platform capable of generating lasting value for businesses. The goal is to reduce payment friction, improve operational efficiency, and unlock sustainable growth for enterprises operating in a digitally evolving market.

Umar S. Khan, Country Manager for Pakistan and Afghanistan at Visa, highlighted the potential of the partnership by pointing to the rise of digital transaction volumes. Citing figures from the State Bank of Pakistan, he noted that digital payments surpassed the 2 billion mark in the last quarter, representing 89% of total retail transactions. Despite this progress, B2B payments remain largely cash-based. With the new BPSP platform, Visa and Kuickpay aim to digitize these transactions, unlock access to working capital, and drive adoption of digital payment practices among SMEs.

Kuickpay operates as a fintech platform with a focus on streamlining B2B payments in Pakistan and the GCC region. Its offerings include tools that enable efficient bill collection, merchant onboarding, and cross-border financial services. With a vision centered on inclusivity and digital financial empowerment, Kuickpay continues to support underserved markets by connecting businesses with secure and scalable financial solutions.

Visa, a global leader in digital payments, facilitates secure and innovative transaction services in more than 200 countries and territories. Through this partnership, both organizations are combining their strengths to enhance digital financial inclusion, drive operational transformation, and contribute to the long-term digitization of B2B commerce in Pakistan.
