Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) achieved a remarkable feat, placing among the top 10 finalists for the World Summit for Information Society (WSIS) 2024 Digital Service Design Special Prize. This prestigious recognition highlights the innovative public service delivery platform, “Dastak.”
The WSIS Awards acknowledge excellence in digital service design for government services. It specifically honors initiatives that showcase scalability, compatibility, and adaptability. These qualities reflect Dastak’s success in enhancing or developing government processes to better serve citizens’ needs through technological advancements.
Dastak is a government-driven initiative from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa aimed at streamlining public service delivery. Organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and GovStack, the WSIS Awards saw Dastak compete against finalists from Germany, Peru, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, and Bangladesh.
