JazzWorld and Population Council Pakistan have signed a two-year Letter of Intent on World Population Day, agreeing to use digital platforms, data, and innovation to expand access to trusted information, improve health outcomes, and create greater opportunities for women and young people across the country. The agreement brings together JazzWorld’s digital reach and customer engagement capabilities with Population Council Pakistan’s research and development expertise.

The partnership is designed to promote digital inclusion, support women and youth empowerment, expand access to trusted reproductive and maternal health information, and support evidence informed policymaking. Initial areas of collaboration include nationwide digital awareness campaigns, AI enabled innovation challenges, joint research, and digital engagement initiatives focused specifically on maternal health, reproductive health, and youth empowerment.

Commenting on the partnership, JazzWorld Chief Executive Officer Aamir Ibrahim said the company’s responsibility extends beyond connecting people to also connecting them to knowledge, opportunity, and services that improve their lives. He said combining Population Council Pakistan’s research expertise with JazzWorld’s digital reach would help millions of Pakistanis make better informed decisions, improve health outcomes, and unlock greater opportunities for women and young people.

Doctor Zeba Sathar, Country Advisor at Population Council Pakistan, said the organisation has long believed that research, innovation, and strong partnerships are essential to addressing complex development challenges. She said the collaboration would allow Population Council Pakistan to combine its development expertise with JazzWorld’s digital scale to reach millions of Pakistanis more effectively, with a particular focus on women and young people in underserved communities through raising awareness, providing trusted information, and connecting them with practical solutions.

The agreement adds to a series of partnerships JazzWorld has pursued in recent months as part of its broader push to position itself as an integrated digital services company rather than a traditional telecom operator, spanning fintech, healthcare, and social impact initiatives alongside its core connectivity business. With Pakistan’s youth population continuing to grow, the partnership reflects a shared view among both organisations that expanding access to trusted information and digital opportunities will be central to ensuring the country’s demographic profile translates into long term economic and social gains rather than becoming a strain on public services and employment.
