Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja will attend the London Tech Week 2026 Follow-Up Event as chief guest, bringing together technology leaders, innovators, investors, and industry stakeholders to build on the momentum generated by Pakistan’s earlier participation at London Tech Week. The event is scheduled for July 29, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the British Deputy High Commission in Karachi.

The follow-up event is intended to sustain engagement between Pakistani technology stakeholders and the connections made during London Tech Week, an international event that has previously served as a platform for Pakistan to showcase its technology sector to global investors and industry figures. Organizers described the Karachi gathering as reflecting Pakistan’s continued commitment to innovation, technology exports, investment, and stronger international collaboration aimed at accelerating the country’s digital transformation.

The event adds to a series of engagements Federal Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja has led with international partners in recent months, part of a broader pattern of Pakistan strengthening its technology and digital governance partnerships with countries including the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. These engagements have typically combined B2B meetings, startup showcases, and investment networking sessions aimed at deepening Pakistan’s international technology partnerships.

By hosting the follow-up event at the British Deputy High Commission in Karachi, the gathering signals continued institutional support from the United Kingdom for Pakistan’s technology sector following the initial London Tech Week engagement. The event reflects ongoing efforts by Pakistan’s Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication to convert international exposure gained through events like London Tech Week into sustained business relationships, investment opportunities, and export growth for the country’s technology industry.
