Islamabad Police has introduced a new online appointment system, allowing citizens to book appointments for Police Khidmat Markaz and driving license services through its official website. The initiative is designed to streamline public service delivery by reducing waiting times and enabling residents to schedule their visits in advance rather than arriving without a set time slot.

Citizens can book an appointment by visiting the official Islamabad Police website and selecting the required service, either Police Khidmat Markaz or driving license related services, before choosing a convenient date and time and confirming the booking. Once confirmed, applicants simply need to visit the relevant facilitation center at their scheduled time to complete the process. According to Islamabad Police, dedicated appointment counters have now been established at all facilitation centers to support the new system.

Citizens arriving at their scheduled appointment time will be served at a designated counter, an arrangement intended to provide a faster, more organized, and more efficient service experience compared to the walk-in model previously used at these centers. By allowing residents to reserve service slots from home, the system removes the need to visit a facilitation center solely to secure an appointment, reducing unnecessary trips and time spent waiting in person.

The initiative forms part of Islamabad Police’s broader effort to modernize public service delivery through digital solutions, aiming to improve the overall experience for citizens seeking police and driving license related services. The move reflects a wider pattern among Pakistani law enforcement and government departments to shift routine administrative processes online, reducing manual bottlenecks and improving accessibility for the public through structured digital scheduling systems.
