Apple’s latest flagship smartphones, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, are now officially available in Pakistan through Mercantile, Apple’s Authorized Distributor and Service Provider in the country. The launch gives Pakistani customers access to the new Pro models through Mercantile’s nationwide network of Preferred Retail Partners, along with selected authorised telecom and banking partners. The devices are PTA approved and come with a two-year warranty, Mercantile Protection Plan and dedicated after-sales support.
The iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs565,000 in Pakistan, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max has a starting price of Rs605,000. Both models are available through Mercantile’s retail network and selected telecom and banking partners. Customers can also access installment options through participating banks, including HBL, Meezan Bank, Bank Alfalah, Faysal Bank, Standard Chartered, Askari Bank and UBL, with individual banks determining eligibility, tenure and applicable terms. Mercantile has also partnered with telecom operators including Jazz, Zong and PTCL for related offers and packages. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max introduce several hardware upgrades compared with the previous generation. Both smartphones are powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip, built on a 2nm process, with a six-core CPU, seven-core GPU and dual 16-core Neural Engine. Apple has also introduced its C2 cellular modem and N1 wireless networking chip. The devices ship with iOS 27 and include the latest generation of Apple Intelligence features, including an updated Siri experience and additional AI-powered capabilities.
Camera improvements are another major part of the new Pro lineup. Both models feature a 48MP Fusion Main camera with a variable aperture, allowing the system to adjust the amount of light entering the lens according to shooting conditions. The camera system also includes a 48MP ultrawide camera and a 48MP periscope telephoto camera. Apple has added more manual controls for photography, including adjustments for aperture, shutter speed and white balance, while video recording also receives new features and processing improvements. The iPhone 18 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, while the Pro Max comes with a larger 6.9-inch panel. Both displays support ProMotion with adaptive refresh rates reaching 120Hz. The phones are available with storage capacities ranging from 256GB to 2TB, giving customers several options depending on their storage requirements. Apple has also increased battery capacity and efficiency, with the Pro Max offering longer rated video playback than the smaller Pro model.
Mercantile is also including additional protection with officially purchased devices. The Mercantile Protection Plan provides one-time free repair coverage for eligible accidental damage, including front-screen replacement, back-glass replacement and liquid damage. Customers can activate the Protection Plan and two-year warranty by scanning the QR code supplied with their purchase and completing the registration process. The official launch provides Pakistani customers with a local channel for purchasing PTA-approved iPhone 18 Pro models while also accessing warranty and after-sales services. With nationwide retail availability, bank installment options and telecom partnerships, Mercantile is positioning the latest iPhone Pro lineup across multiple purchasing channels in Pakistan.
