Indolj, a leading player in Pakistan’s restaurant technology space, organized a unique and high-energy gathering with the inaugural RCB Padel Masters 2025 on June 17. Hosted at a premium indoor padel facility in Karachi, the event brought together over 100 restaurant owners and industry professionals for an evening that blended sport, strategic networking, and collaborative insight-sharing. It was the first event of its kind in the sector, designed to strengthen relationships within the restaurant and food services community.

Led by Indolj CEO Saad Jangda, the event focused on giving restaurant operators a rare opportunity to step away from their demanding schedules and engage with their peers in a relaxed yet vibrant environment. Jangda shared that the motivation behind the initiative was to address the lack of downtime and informal peer interaction in the industry. “Restaurant owners are constantly on their feet, juggling operations and customer service. With RCB Padel Masters, we wanted to create a space where they could relax, compete, connect, and grow together,” he said.

The event was warmly received by participants, many of whom highlighted its refreshing balance of recreation and relationship-building. Adeel Kalia, Director of Kaybees, described it as one of the best experiences he had participated in, appreciating how the event combined mental and physical activities while allowing key players in the restaurant space to connect in an informal setting. The games served as a gateway to deeper industry conversations, as attendees shared insights and explored ways to collaborate.

For many, the event was a chance to reconnect with long-time colleagues and make new connections in a fast-evolving industry. Omer Sheikh, owner of Karachi Broast, thanked the organizers for creating a space where reconnection felt natural and energizing. Similarly, Khurram Shehzad of Burger O’Clock reflected on the evening as a perfect blend of fun, networking, and industry engagement, even joking about the humid weather not dampening the overall experience.

RCB Padel Masters 2025 went beyond competition, transforming into a dynamic forum where business owners exchanged experiences and developed new perspectives on shared challenges. The participation of influential brands and independent operators created a diverse atmosphere that reflected the evolving nature of the restaurant landscape in Pakistan.

The success of the event has motivated Indolj to consider making RCB Padel Masters a regular fixture in its community-building strategy. As part of its broader mission, Indolj aims to foster stronger relationships within the food services ecosystem by creating platforms where collaboration can happen organically. With such strong turnout and positive feedback, future editions are expected to attract even more engagement from within the sector, reinforcing the company’s role not just as a technology enabler but as a community convener in Pakistan’s hospitality and food-tech industries.
