The Inter-Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) is working diligently to connect all educational boards in Pakistan to its digital verification portal, streamlining the process of verifying educational documents.

This initiative aims to eliminate the need for manual verification procedures, allowing students to authenticate their records directly through the online portal. Several prominent boards, including the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, the Balochistan Board, and various Punjab education boards, have already been integrated into the system.

The latest development in this process is the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IBCC and the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar. This agreement grants IBCC read-only access to BISE Peshawar’s data via an API, simplifying and expediting the document verification process.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Ghulam Ali Malah, Executive Director of IBCC, and Professor Nasrullah Khan Yousafzai, Chairman of BISE Peshawar, along with examination controllers, directors, and IT teams from both organizations.

This collaboration will significantly benefit students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as they will no longer be required to physically visit BISE Peshawar for document validation. Online verification through IBCC will save both time and money for students seeking to authenticate their educational credentials.

It is anticipated that this successful integration between IBCC and BISE Peshawar will encourage other boards in the region to follow suit, further enhancing the efficiency and convenience of the document verification process for students across Pakistan.
