Ever since its inception in 2010, the IBA Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) has played a major role in promoting entrepreneurship and has contributed in the development of an entrepreneurial eco-system in the country.
Over the years, IBA CED has developed an award winning entrepreneurship model along with teaching material. Moreover, CED has been the frontrunner of the women entrepreneurship program in Pakistan, and has been offering entrepreneurship programs in various parts of the country.
To celebrate its various milestones, IBA CED is organizing a two day symposium to develop a new breed of entrepreneurship faculty. The salient features for the International Entrepreneurship Educators Symposium include: Exposure to USASBE’s award winning entrepreneurship model; The latest developments in the Effectuation theory of Entrepreneurship; Introduction to “ETA” Entrepreneurial Thought and Action i.e. Babson Methodology; Exposure to lean startup methodology; Entrepreneurship teaching experiences in Hyderabad, Sukkur, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Quetta, Peshawar and Lahore etc.; Entrepreneurship international teaching experiences in Darden, Babson, Stanford, Germany, Thailand and Singapore etc.; and United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
The symposium is all set to take place on the 10th to 11th of August 2018 from 9am to 5pm at IBA CED Main Campus. The fees for the symposium is Rs15000. The symposium is designed for faculty members and professionals who are engaged or would like to engage in teaching entrepreneurship and Deans, Program Directors or Senior Managers who want to initiate entrepreneurship programs in their universities.
