The GSMA Capacity Building Center of Excellence, in collaboration with Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), has announced the successful launch of its first in-person training program since the COVID-19 pandemic. This marks a significant milestone for the industry’s return to face-to-face learning and development initiatives.

The program attracted a strong showing, with a total of 40 registrations from policymakers and regulators across the region. This enthusiastic participation underscores the vital role such training plays in equipping key stakeholders with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the evolving telecommunications landscape.

This initiative signifies GSMA’s commitment to fostering a skilled and knowledgeable regulatory environment in Pakistan and the broader South Asian region.

The training program was facilitated by the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) during the South-Asian Telecommunication Regulators’ Council (SATRC) meetings. This collaboration ensures the program aligns with regional priorities and addresses the specific needs of participating regulators.

The GSMA Capacity Building Center of Excellence offers a comprehensive suite of training programs designed to equip policymakers, regulators, and industry professionals with the expertise needed to drive innovation and growth in the mobile sector.

This successful launch paves the way for continued collaboration between the GSMA, PTA, and APT in providing valuable training opportunities for the region’s telecommunications sector.
