Google has announced the launch of its AI Academy to support and accelerate the growth of artificial intelligence startups in Pakistan and the broader Asia-Pacific region. The initiative aims to foster innovation and collaboration among startups by providing mentorship, resources, and funding.
Selected startups will receive guidance from Google’s AI experts, along with up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits. The program aims to help startups develop proof of concepts and product roadmaps, ultimately accelerating their path to market.
Google Pakistan Country Director Farhan S. Qureshi expressed optimism about the program’s potential to strengthen the local AI ecosystem. Applications for the AI Academy are open until August 16.
