GAIN Program is set to host a unique double session featuring two global leaders in technology and venture capital, offering Pakistani IT companies insights into Generative AI, frontier technologies, and strategies for scaling globally. For the first time, participants will benefit from consecutive sessions with Mr. Mohammad Anwar Khan, a Silicon Valley pioneer, and Mr. Ahsan Jamil, Founder and Managing General Partner at sAi Capital.

The combined expertise of these two industry leaders spans over six decades, including contributions to technologies behind Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as significant venture capital deployments. Participants can expect actionable guidance on transforming Pakistan’s IT sector from service-oriented models to globally competitive technology players.

The first session, “Empowering Pakistan’s Next Tech Wave with Generative AI & Entrepreneurship,” will be led by Mr. Mohammad Anwar Khan, holder of over 50 patents and founding engineer at Verifone. It will run from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM PKT and focus on leveraging AI for entrepreneurship and innovation. Following immediately, Mr. Ahsan Jamil will host “Frontier Tech and Advanced Engineering – Pakistan’s Global Play” from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM PKT, guiding attendees on frontier technologies and positioning Pakistani IT firms for global opportunities.

Scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, 2026, this dual session aims to provide a roadmap for building venture-ready solutions, aligning with global investor expectations, and fostering export-led growth through advanced technology adoption. CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
