Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) hosted an insightful awareness session on February 20, 2025, at its head office in Karachi, focusing on the evolving landscape of e-commerce and entrepreneurship in Pakistan. Organized by the FPCCI Sindh Regional Standing Committee on Economy and She Trade in collaboration with the FPCCI Central (CSR) Standing Committee on Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Alibaba.com Pakistan, the event aimed to educate businesses on leveraging digital tools and marketing strategies to drive success in the competitive e-commerce space.

Convened by Ms. Shabana Asif and Ms. Faryal Asif, the session brought together industry experts, entrepreneurs, and business professionals to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in e-commerce. The event featured engaging talks from distinguished speakers who shared valuable insights on various aspects of digital commerce, online marketing, and business growth strategies. Ms. Sumra Tanvir, Founder and CEO of Peddle Solutions, addressed the audience on The Power of Marketing in E-Commerce Success. She emphasized the critical role of digital marketing in expanding business reach, building brand identity, and driving sales. She highlighted the importance of data-driven strategies, customer engagement, and innovative advertising methods in ensuring the success of e-commerce ventures.

Mr. Ibrahim Abbas, Founder and CEO of Aameeq, spoke on How Augmented Reality (AR) is Transforming E-Commerce. He explored the impact of AR technology on online shopping experiences, demonstrating how interactive and immersive elements are reshaping customer behavior. His presentation showcased real-world examples of AR applications in product visualization, virtual try-ons, and enhanced user experiences, highlighting how businesses can adopt these technologies to gain a competitive edge. From Alibaba.com Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Sadiq, Business Growth Manager, delivered a session on Unlocking E-Commerce Success with Alibaba.com. He provided valuable insights into how Pakistani businesses can utilize Alibaba’s global platform to expand their reach, enter new markets, and optimize their sales strategies. He discussed the potential of cross-border trade and the importance of leveraging Alibaba’s resources for business growth.

Complementing this, Mr. Maaz, Service Manager at Alibaba.com Pakistan, presented on 100-Day Plan to Success on Alibaba.com. His session outlined a step-by-step approach for businesses to establish a strong presence on the platform, from setting up online stores to optimizing product listings and implementing strategic marketing campaigns. He also shared practical tips on how to attract international buyers and maximize profitability in the competitive global marketplace. The session was attended by committee members, industry professionals, and business owners eager to explore the opportunities offered by digital commerce. The discussions underscored the growing importance of technology in shaping the future of entrepreneurship, emphasizing how businesses must adapt to digital transformation to remain competitive.
