Federal Minister for IT & Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, represented Pakistan at the International Plenary Session titled “Digital Compass of the SCO-Partner” in Moscow, Russia. Addressing a global audience of policymakers, technology experts, and industry leaders, she highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing digital transformation efforts and the country’s commitment to adopting trusted technologies while fostering a secure and inclusive digital ecosystem. Her participation underscored Pakistan’s intention to play a proactive role in shaping regional and international digital cooperation initiatives.
During her address, Minister Khawaja emphasized the key pillars of Pakistan’s Digital Vision, including the development of robust IT infrastructure, promotion of digital literacy, and expansion of digital services across government and private sectors. She outlined how Pakistan’s policy framework and ongoing projects aim to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accessibility for citizens.
