Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja is set to speak at the virtual kickoff session of AI Seekho 2026, a nationwide artificial intelligence upskilling initiative organised by Google for Developers in collaboration with Telenor Pakistan and Innovista. The session is scheduled for April 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Pakistan Standard Time, and will be streamed live on the Google Pakistan YouTube channel at https://lnkd.in/d3VZU-AE. The event marks the official launch of the “Online Master AI” phase of the programme, bringing together government leadership, technology platforms, and the broader public in what is being positioned as a high-energy opening to a movement designed to make artificial intelligence education accessible to Pakistanis at scale.

AI Seekho 2026 is structured around a three-part journey encapsulated in the framework of Seekho, Banao, and Jeeto — learn, create, and win. The programme introduces participants to the concept of vibe coding, a hands-on, intuitive approach to building with artificial intelligence tools, through guided learning on Google AI Studio and the Antigravity platform. Rather than positioning artificial intelligence as an abstract or exclusively technical discipline, the initiative is designed to bring practical, creative engagement with AI tools to a wide and diverse audience across Pakistan, including those without prior technical backgrounds. Participants who complete the learning modules will have the opportunity to apply their skills creatively, with the added incentive of winning prize money and exclusive merchandise for standout contributions.

The involvement of Federal Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja at the kickoff underscores the alignment between the AI Seekho initiative and the government’s broader digital nation agenda, which has consistently identified artificial intelligence literacy and technology adoption as central pillars of Pakistan’s economic and workforce development strategy. With the session open to the public via YouTube Live, the programme lowers barriers to participation significantly, allowing citizens from across the country regardless of geography or institutional affiliation to engage directly with one of the most consequential technology skill sets of the present decade.
