The world is currently going through one of the biggest challenges it has encountered since over a decade with a Covid-19 pandemic that has resulted in the people around the world isolating themselves and remaining in Quarantine for an undetermined period of time. In such a time where mobility has been strictly limited, Faysal Bank has introduced credit cards that will make online shopping all the more easier and worthwhile.

In a time where making transactions online has become both convenient and necessary, companies are now especially looking at ways towards a ‘cashless’ economy and to limit human contact as well. Hence, credit cards have become the favoured mode of payment. The new Faysal Bank Credit cards are giving out reward points where one can get up to 5x in returns.

Faysal Bank has rolled out two new credit cards, Blaze and Velocity that are fast, convenient and equipped with the latest chip and pin technology for added security. One can earn these SmilePoints through various international  and local spendings through these cards. This includes online streaming services such as Netflix to day to day transactions as well. One can now easily order food through FoodPanda or use the transport services of Careem or Uber without having to worry about dealing in cash. These points can then be redeemed at various places such as dining out, retail outlets and even when purchasing electronics.

According to a statement by Faysal Bank, FBL cardholders can earn 5x SmilePoints on selective merchants (recurring payments) till May 31,2020. The Blaze Credit Card offers double the SmilePoints on apparel shopping while the Velocity card offers double SmilePoints on paying utility bills. According to the bank, one of the main incentives of these cards is that users can get five times SmilePoints on international spending.
