Fawad Khan is apparently joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe after landing a role in Disney’s ‘Ms. Marvel. This means he could be gearing up for his Hollywood debut!

The celebrated actor is apparently gearing up to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe by joining the cast of Disney’s new series, Ms. Marvel, after creating waves across the border with his Disney produced film.

The revelation was first reported by BBC entertainment correspondent Haroon Rashid, who tweeted that the Humsafar actor would join two other Pakistani actresses, Samina Ahmed and Nimra Bucha, in the superhero series.

“Wow!” says the speaker. Ms Marvel, the Disney+ series featuring Marvel’s first titular Muslim character, will include Fawad Khan. On the official IMDB page for the show, he is listed. Farhan Akhtar, Nimra Bucha, and Samina Ahmad are among the cast members. Marvel has yet to respond. If true, it’s incredible!” he wrote.

Ms. Marvel, alias Kamala Khan, will be played by Pakistani-Canadian actress Iman Vellani in the Disney+ series. Brie Larson, who will reprise her role as Carol Danvers, or Captain Marvel, will also be a part of the series.

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Meera Menon, Bilall Fallah, and Adil El Arbi will direct the series.
