FAST-NUCES Karachi Campus held the closing ceremony for the first cohort of its XLoop Digital Internship Program, marking the completion of an internship journey undertaken by a group of the university’s students at XLoop Digital, a software and digital transformation company. The Office of Internship Program Coordination at the Karachi Campus organised the ceremony to recognise the growth, learning, and professional development achieved by the interns over the course of the programme.
The ceremony brought together students, university representatives, and members of the XLoop Digital team to mark the completion of the internship cycle, which offered participants exposure to real world software and digital transformation work. University officials congratulated the interns on successfully completing the programme, describing it as an important early step in their professional careers and noting that the experience had equipped them with practical skills, industry exposure, and greater confidence heading into the workforce. The event also served as an opportunity for the university to formally acknowledge the support provided by XLoop Digital throughout the internship period.
University representatives extended appreciation to the XLoop Digital team for their mentorship, hospitality, and consistent commitment to supporting young talent throughout the internship. Officials said the opportunity provided to students had been valuable in building both technical competence and professional readiness, and expressed interest in continuing and expanding the partnership with XLoop Digital for future cohorts of interns from the Karachi Campus.
The Office of Internship Program Coordination at FAST-NUCES Karachi Campus said it remains focused on building long term industry academia partnerships that create value for both students and partner organisations. The closing ceremony for the first XLoop Digital cohort reflects a broader push by universities across Pakistan to strengthen structured internship pipelines with technology companies, giving students earlier and more consistent access to professional environments before they enter the job market. Further cohorts under the programme are expected to follow as the partnership between FAST-NUCES Karachi and XLoop Digital continues.
